The loans have been made possible by the success of Natizo's measuring spoons.

Both of the businesses that Natizo has made loans to sell food. The business in India is a small, family dairy that is using the loan to buy two additional cows and expand the business into butter and yogurt. The Filipino business is a dried fish market stall, with the loan going towards the cost of additional dried fish to grow sales.
"Everyone at Natizo is passionate about cooking and food and we are very excited to be able to support small businesses in developing countries that are also passionate about food." added Hall. "When we decided we wanted to help other businesses we decided they should be working in food related areas, to match our passions."
The loans have been made through Kiva, a San Francisco based non-profit organization with a mission to connect people through lending to alleviate poverty. All of the money that is lent through Kiva goes to the end recipients, with Kiva's costs being paid for from donations.
"As well as providing loans to the two food businesses, we have also made a donation to Kiva to help with the costs of providing its great service." said David Hall. "Kiva is a world leader in small business lending for developing countries and we are grateful for the opportunity to help them realise their aims."
The company spokesperson also revealed that Natizo intends to make more loans in the future.
"These two loans are just the start. We will be working with Kiva more in the coming months to help other small businesses around the world and here in the USA grow and develop." added Hall.
