(Food-Beverage-News.Com, February 17, 2015 ) Vancouver, BC -- Fourth quarter earnings announced today for HellFire BBQ were higher than expected, with the Christmas season being credited for the increase. Robert Blackmore, the firm's founder and spokesman, indicated that the major shopping period in the United States pushed the quarterly numbers to a record high.
"With recent improvements to our flagship heat resistant barbecue gloves, based on customer feedback, we managed to exceed all expectations during the holidays," said Blackmore. Although he did not outline exact figures, Blackmore indicated that he was very pleased with the sales growth, and had plans to push numbers even higher in 2015.
The company puts an emphasis on environmentally sound products that utilize the latest manufacturing technologies, resulting in higher-performing products that are less harmful to our planet. For example, its heat resistant barbecue gloves are known for their durability and toughness, says Blackmore, thus lasting longer in customers' homes, thereby reducing the number of products discarded into landfill sites across the nation each year.
HellFire has partnered with Amazon, and according to Blackmore, it will continue to use that firm's network of fulfillment centers in the United States to deliver products to consumers. "We were very happy that this year the Christmas shopping rush was handled very well by both Amazon and its partner carriers," stated Blackmore. "Our customers got very fast deliveries, right up until the final deadlines, and the snow did not slow things down."
More barbecue products are in the works for this company, and Blackmore stated he hopes to roll out several of them this spring, though he would not commit to an exact timeline. "Certainly before Father's Day, we will have some great new offerings for our customers," he said.
