Healthy Living and San Antonio HCG Diet Go Together

(EMAILWIRE.COM, June 08, 2011 ) San Antonio, TX -- ItÂ’s alarming to know that Americans spend 90% of their food budget on processed foods. These processed foods contain twice the amount of calories one needs daily and yet only offer 25% of the vital nutrients needed to preserve good health and avoid illness. ThatÂ’s why 66.7% of Americans are overweight or obese so that means out of 307 million Americans, over 200 million suffer from a weight problem. San Antonio weight loss population has exploded to 800,000 who are overweight and obese.

HCG weight loss promotes eating fresh meats, vegetables and fruits. Protein is obtained from steak, skinless chicken breast, fresh white fish, lobster, crab and shrimp. Fresh vegetables allowed on the HCG diet are spinach, tomatoes, fennel, onions, red radishes, cucumbers, asparagus, cabbage and greens like lettuce. And of course, fresh fruits like strawberries (and other berries), apples, oranges and grapefruit. No processed foods are allowed during the HCG diet.

The HCG diet plan works together with VLCD (very low calorie diet) and one might be asking – why couldn’t they just do the low calories without the HCG? That’s a good question because logically it makes sense if one reduces calories than they will reduce weight. There are two basic reasons one should avoid just reducing calories to lose weight.

1. Reducing calories lowers the metabolism. If one suffers from overweight or obesity, itÂ’s safe to say they already suffer from a low metabolism. By reducing calories, the body slows down itÂ’s metabolism as a mechanism in order to survive. ThatÂ’s why when one terminates the diet, their weight bounces back or itÂ’s above their original weight before they induced their body on low calories.

2. Inducing the body on a low calorie diet shocks the brain into starvation mode. During starvation, the body holds on to fat as a mechanism to survive. Thus, a low calorie diet will prohibit the body from releasing abnormal fat. Instead, the body will deplete reserve fat, then structural fat and then finally the fat bank of abnormal fat.

These 2 basic reasons are why one has not been successful by reducing calories in the past. A combination of sublingual HCG and VLCD can mobilize and reduce abnormal fat.

If one suffers from overweight and obesity it is a mandatory that they lose weight, eat healthy and exercise in order to improve their chances of living longer. This healthy living will ultimately improve the quality of life without becoming a risk factor for obesity related diseases like heart disease, high blood pressure and diabetes to name a few.

From the comfort of oneÂ’s home, a medically supervised HCG online program is available. Call Slim Spa Medical with questions at 800-208-6533, and theyÂ’ll follow up weekly to update oneÂ’s medical chart.
