(Food-Beverage-News.Com, December 19, 2012 ) Phoenix, AZ -- Co-founder Terry Bortin recently revealed in an interview with National Restaurant News that America’s Taco Shop is in the middle of an expansion project involving six new locations. The expansion will help expand the company into new markets from Maryland to California.
The Arizona-based Mexican cuisine restaurant has been planning for eventual expansion ever since launching in 2008. After opening several locations in Arizona since that first restaurant, the company is now prepared to finally reach out into other cities.
With a menu based around carne asada, the restaurant has evolved to offer many unique, as well as basic food choices for new customers. In a market that has seen the emergence of Chipotle, Moe’s and Qdoba, While this page is not affiliated with any of those companies, America’s Taco Shop brings a unique twist that focuses more on authenticity and fresh ingredients being used each and every day.
Expansion will continue into 2013, as Bortin believes a new round of locations will be announced shortly. The business has no definite goals for the near future, but they do plan on expanding as long as demand continues to be on the rise.
