Those Who Recall Meals Eat Less Later reports Classic Garcinia Cambogia

(Food-Beverage-News.Com, March 28, 2013 ) San Francisco, CA -- Quite often, people who struggle to lose those extra pounds simply fall short due from a lack of willpower. Those individuals often find it difficult to reduce their overall caloric intake; however, the researchers at the University of Liverpool often discover an easy-and-attainable technique that brings a reduction in overall body fat.

According to the study, which was published in the American Journal of Clinical Nutrition, if the person is able to recall the last meal as being satisfying, they are more likely to consumer less overall food in the following meal. The study also claims that distracted eaters tend to take in extra calories, as they are not aware of the overall total of food consumed.

A person who is listening to music, watching television, or reading while he/she eats is more likely to have more servings or larger portions.

On analyzing 24 separate studies that looked directly at the impact of awareness, memory, and general distractions in their effects of how individuals eat, researchers noted that those who were aware of exactly what they eat (through keeping notes or visual aids) were able to eat less food in subsequent meals.

Other techniques that have led to reduction in meal sizes ranged from simple reminders/recollection of the meals, to literal visual aids of the meal that was had. Sometimes small portions of the previous meal were kept in food wrappers as well.

"However, whilst techniques which remind you of what you have eaten reduce food consumption, some practical strategies to put these findings into practice need to be further developed. Also, the studies we analyzed looked at adults with healthy body mass index so additional work is needed to find out how this might affect people who are overweight," Dr. Eric Robinson, from the Institute of Psychology, Health and Society, said in a press statement.
