This time it's a heat resistant kitchen gloves, Lava Grip, which is a pair of Kevlar Gloves. The designer of this glove has been studying the different materials that would protect the hands even up to 662 F. Gladly, the said company has found the materials in an insulated with space age Nomex and Kevlar material.
Based on the research of Stephanie Kwolek, a Polish-American chemist, she patented the Kevlar during 1966. Kevlar was known to be super fiber that's extremely lightweight and used in bullet proof vests. This is one of the reasons that the Epicura Home has come up with the idea of putting the Kevlar material in their Lava Grip gloves.
According to Katie Townes, spokesperson of Epicura Home, "We are very excited to introduce our newest kitchen/home item in the market.
