These videos each address the solution for a different challenge to altering life long habits that affect weight loss. For example, one video provides tools to identify and alter habits that have become unconscious through long repetition. Another shows how to adopt a new diet when your daily schedule is not fixed.

In the video series, Kennon Brown speaks directly to the viewer and gives specific, actionable techniques for modifying habits, overcoming procrastination, maintaining enthusiasm and improving self image. Brown is one of the original members of the Gaia's Table project. Brown's setting and presentation style are direct and informal, with his discussion of current brain structure research and behavioral science principles occasionally competing to be heard over chickens and railroad sounds near his home in rural Oregon.
