(Food-Beverage-News.Com, July 28, 2014 ) New York, NY -- Announcing the first ever Multi Size Ice Ball Maker from TNP. TNP (The North Pole) has just developed the first ever multiple size ice ball maker to fit different size glassware.
Typically whiskey drinkers like to drink out of wider mouthed "rocks" style glassware. In this instance, a larger 2.5" ball would work nice. If they are drinking out of a wine glass or brandy snifter, the smaller 2" ball would be able to fit through the mouth of the glass. Additionally, some pint glasses used for cocktails, as well as non-alcoholic beverages have a smaller circumference at the bottom of the glass. The 2.5" balls would not rest on the bottom of the glass, however the 2" balls would. TNP is attempting to ensure their ice balls fit most normal household glassware.
The North Pole's silicone material used in this set is of BPA Free, FDA Approved standards. The premium silicone is of durable quality and dishwasher safe. It creates a tight, seal when the two halves come together to make the mold.
The individual ice ball molds allow for easy storage in any tight spaces in the freezer. When asked why The North Pole's Ice Ball set is unique, head of customer service, Alina Smith was quoted saying "There have been clients stating they bought other brands that came with one size ice ball and it did not fit their glassware properly or create perfect molds, TNP wanted to ensure neither of those were the issue with this set."
TNP, which stands for The North Pole will be distributing worldwide through Amazon and their online store. The company has plans to create additional products in the coming year. The Multi Size Ice Ball Maker is currently available on Amazon.
