"When baking with silicone muffin pans like our very own Mister Kitchenware 12-cup silicone pan, you may omit the part of oiling or greasing before placing the batter. But prior to using the pan for the first time, it should be conditioned by spraying a little amount of cooking spray. For all other times, batter can simply be placed into the pans," Moal shares.
After combining the ingredients, Moal recommends putting batter immediately into the muffin pan. Moal also suggested using a spoon or spatula in scraping batter from the scoop. Most muffin recipes ask to fill the muffin cups up to 2/3 full or else there will be oversized muffins. Recipe instructions should always be followed warned Moal. For more uniformly sized muffins, make use of an ice cream scoop or measuring cup in placing batter into the cups.
When there is not enough batter to fill all cups, it is suggested that empty cups should be filled with water in order to keep the heat evenly distributed.
