"Based on the feedback we have gotten, our customers have loved our kitchen scale ever since we introduced it in January of 2014, but they would still offer suggestions on how we could make it even better, so we took the time to listen and make improvements," said Joanne Hayes, CEO and Founder of Better Brighter Ideas.
According to Hayes, they made the Food Scale just a little longer. She said that customers have loved the fact the scale was small, but still asked for a touch more room. She said Better Brighter Ideas made sure it was still a size that didn't take up much space on the kitchen counter, which was important to customers.
She added that they also made the digital display easier to read by enlarging the display and adding a light so the numbers are brighter. In addition, they made the kitchen scale thinner and included batteries so customers can start using the scale immediately and do not have to hunt for batteries.
She said they are very pleased with the comments they have continued to get from customers.
"It is always a challenge to take something people love and try to make it better. You worry if people will still love it and based on the great positive feedback we have been getting, our kitchen scale continues to be a big hit, so we are very happy with the results."
Hayes added they love to hear from customers and will continue to listen to their feedback and add more premium products. At this point Better Brighter Ideas sells the BBI Kitchen Food Scale on Amazon and their own website, but plans to expand into other markets in the future.
