The NueDay ice ball mold sphere is mainly made up of silicon and the product itself has been approved by the FDA. It has been checked out with all the safety precautions being toxin, chemical, and BPA-free. When using the product, it will be able to produce 2.5 inch ice spheres/balls which melt significantly slower compared to regular ice cubes or crushed ice thanks to its distinct spherical shape which gives it a smaller contact area.
"We first saw and used the ice sphere back in Japan and we were amazed on how it looks very classy and elegant. We also noticed that it doesn't melt so easily thus giving us better quality chilled beverages. But we discovered that the ice ball machine was expensive so we decided to make our own and this is what we have come up with", Landers goes on to explain.
