"The more traditional cooking apron for American women is much smaller than the No1Cook apron - it is shorter in length, the waist ties are shorter and the coverage is much less. Also, the design is very different - many are white or pastel colours and have frills, ruffles and bows," said Alison Dickinson, No1Cook.
The No1Cook kitchen apron is a block royal blue colour with a fine red stitching detail around the edges. The apron is adjustable so it fits women of all shapes and sizes and the waist straps are extra long and can be tied at the front or back. The apron provides a large amount of coverage on the front so this feature, combined with the dark colour makes for a very practical and stylish apron.
"We believe there is a group of American women who are wanting something more practical and mature than what is currently selling on Amazon and our strong sales reflect that this is the case. We believe there is room for the two contrasting styles in this market and they each have a place," said Alison.
The No1Cook kitchen apron hit the Amazon.com marketplace in August and strong sales saw them run out of stock two weeks before Christmas. They are now back in stock and have reduced the price of the apron to $12.00 for a limited period of time.
