In February 2016 the company revised the product, adding a new storage tray and a third fine needle intended for injecting marinade into thin cuts of meat such as steaks or kebabs.

The Premiala Flavor Injector is constructed from food-safe 304-grade stainless steel for all components which touch the food to guarantee food safety.
