The jar is a mason jar and made by an American Company who gets it imported. This brand of jar, therefore, is made overseas. But the American company's owner worked for the Ball Company for over 12 years. He also says his product has a heavier jar and is tested independently to contain less lead then Ball Jars. Both of which are way under any recommended food grade thresholds.
The cap is also from an American company (ReCap) and made in the USA. It is BPA free. It has a white-clear color. The lid screws on tight and is air and water tight at the top of the jar due to the built in rubberized washer in the lid. And there is a hinged pop top that anyone can open and close easily. It has about 3/4" opening for pouring or drinking.
Organic Family Products also includes a metal spring ball in the Milk Jar Kit package for mixing and adding protein powder for an on the go mixing bottle. Also, since natural juices and milks tend to separate, even nut milks, it helps to rapidly homogenate the mixture or milk temporarily.
The other included item is the insert, which give nut milk tips and instructions.
