An unexpected surge in sales in July resulted in a complete exhaustion of the Do-Be Products inventory of the popular brass grill brushes for sale on Amazon.com. A company spokesperson was happy to announce the good news that, after a period of back-and-forth negotiations with its Chinese supplier, the inventory has finally been restored and the product is now once again available.
A company spokesman explained that there are currently two schools of thought about modern grill brushes. Everyone agrees that the triangular-shaped head is vastly superior to the block, bristle and scraper design of past years, but there is a division of preference among grill brush users as to the best material for the bristles. Some like the stainless steel bristles better because they are stronger and more durable, but many, if not most, people prefer the brass bristles, because these bristles will penetrate between the ridges on the grill better than stainless steel. Another feature that many people look for in a grill brush is the length of the handle. Short handled brushes are still selling relatively well, but a long handle has advantages when it comes to getting to the back of the grill surface and to avoiding getting burned on the hand or wrist while cleaning a hot grill.
