Summer Sale On Organic Sulfur For HealthÂ’s Omega-3 Fish Oil (FINAL DAY)

Buy Only Premium Quality Molecularly Distilled Omega 3 Fish Oil Supplements

(Food-Beverage-News.Com, August 31, 2014 ) Mill Valley, California -- Omega-3's are essential fatty acids that over 90% of Americans are not getting enough of in their daily diet, according to medical spokespersons such as Dr. Mark Hyman. This vital nutrient cannot be synthesized internally and must be obtained from food sources. The brain is comprised of 60% fat. Of this amount, an essential omega-3 fat called docosahexaenoic acid (DHA) makes up 10-15% of the brain's total fatty acids. If there is insufficient intake of omega-3's, the myelin sheath surrounding the nerve and brain cells may become short-circuited and erode which can lead to an assortment of health problems, such as neurological conditions, depression, and obesity.

According to MSNBC writer Susan Allport, omega-3 fats are found in the most metabolically active cells of a living organism. When diets are lacking in these fatty acids, that correlates with a lowered metabolism rate which can lead to weight gain.

Memory loss is often cited as a health complaint. Dr. Hyman attributes memory loss to several factors, including lack of sleep, stress, and sugar consumption. Stress can reduce the size of the hippocampus, which serves as the brain's memory center. Supplementing one's diet with fish oil containing EPA and DHA fatty acids can benefit the brain cell structure and, thus, improve memory.

Intake of omega-3 fatty acids during pregnancy is important for the healthy growth and development of babies. Low DHA levels can adversely affect an infant's eyesight as well as their ability to develop language skills. In addition, studies have shown that children with learning disabilities such as attention deficit disorder may see improvement by ensuring that they are obtain sufficient quantities of omega-3 fatty acids in their diet.

Supplementing with fish oil is beneficial not only for newborns and children, it can also benefit the health and well-being of a new mother. Depression during pregnancy and after the baby's delivery are common issues. In her book entitled Food & Mood, nutrition expert Elizabeth Somer cited research that linked the likelihood of depression to the levels of fish consumption. In regions where people traditionally consume a high level of omega-3's, depression rates are believed to be up to 60% less than areas such as North America, where consumption is lower. Omega-3's are an essential component of the neurotransmitter serotonin, which helps to improve one's mood.

The American Dietetic Association and Dietitians of Canada recommends that adults consume a combined intake of 500 mg per day of DHA and EPA, based on a daily intake of 2000 kcal. Specific recommendations for DHA intakes during pregnancy for North Americans are limited to those made by the International Society for the Study of Fatty Acids and Lipids working group, which recommends a minimum of 300 mg each day.

The summer blowout sale is good through Aug. 31, 2014.
