Expert Reacts On Weight-loss Program That Retrains Brain To Crave Healthy Diets

(Food-Beverage-News.Com, September 11, 2014 ) Ketchum, Idaho -- A recent study shows how a weight-loss program can retrain the brain to control the kind of food that individuals eat per time. James Khan, a health consultant from LightCo Health, a manufacturer of LightCo Health Forskolin Supplement, reacts to the claim as published in today.com by Meghan Holohan.

According to James Khan, it's a proven fact that the human psychology is a function of different variables that work together to define one's personal lifestyle. It was possibly this concept that led Susan Roberts to experiment with a new weight-loss program, iDiet, at the USDA Human Nutrition Research Center on Aging at Tuft University.

Susan Roberts admitted the fact that most Americans can't control their appetite as they are prone to eating junk foods; but then, she argued that the incontinence takes its root in the brain, stating that if the brain is rewired, it would help to have good control over the natural appetite in such a way that an individual would only crave healthy foods.

Remarking on the six-month research wherein 8 people lost about 15 pounds each, James Khan affirms that iDiet would be an ideal solution if there is 100% certainty that the results would be permanent. Besides, the research was only centered on certain kinds of foods, and there is no evidence that all foods in this world would show the same neurological results. Quoting Susan Roberts, he states thus, "It's unclear whether other diets would create the same brain changes."

He also reveals that iDiet is more or less like a restrictive dieting pattern that helps to avoid high-calorie and high-fat foods. However, James Khan, while comparing the weight loss program with the in-take of Forskolin Coleus supplements to iDiet, he observes that, though the latter acts as appetite suppressant, it does not really restrict the diet of users. "That seems to be the cutting edge of thermogenic weight-loss supplements today. They control the appetite and also burn fats from foods that iDiet tends to avoid," he adds.
