This is the highly anticipated album for the band from North Carolina, which will be released on the same day of their debut album five years ago. Every song in the Break the Spell Daughtry album is co-written by the bandÂ’s frontman Chris Daughtry, with the help of either one of his bandmates (Josh Steely, Brian Craddock and Josh Paul) or with other collaborators like Bret James, Busbee and Marti Frederiksen. Chris Daughtry stated that the band did not try to fit any style of songwriting while creating the album. "Going in to the writing sessions, we said, 'Let's not try to sound like anything. Let's just write, and see what happens,'" Chris said.
