Summer is also time to indulge in fresh produce. Mr. Chatman appealed to individuals to consider farmers’ markets for their availability of fresh, nutritious vegetables and fruits. These items could be marinated and grilled to substitute for less healthier alternatives. Combined with lean protein and water, these meals can help people stay on track towards achieving their health-related aspirations.
For obvious reasons, people should stay properly hydrated during the summer by drinking a lot of water. Water helps prevent bloating, cools body temperature, detoxifies cells, and reinvigorates the skin. In fact it is good to drink plenty of water during all seasons of the year.
